I love to read and write. If you look up the word bibliophile, you might see my picture. I love to follow booktubers for suggestions for books to read. I hope to share my book reviews in a way that feels like meeting with a friend for a cup of coffee and a friendly chat.

I plan to continue to interview authors. I not only like to read but I am fascinated by the writing process. You can find my author interviews on the side bar by clicking author interviews.

I am planning to explore indie bookstores. I want to discover the nooks and crannies of local bookstores. Who owns them, how they got started, why own a bookstore, and what’s it really like to be surrounded by so many books every day? Bookstore posts will also appear in the sidebar soon.

I will also write about local author events and book festivals. If I am lucky enough to attend any writer’s conferences, I will share that experience with you as well.

I belong to Sisters in Crime. and Sisters in Crime-Iowa.  I have published in short fiction in a literary magazine, I wrote monthly articles in Women’s Edition magazine, and had a slice of life column in a local newspaper. This blog is meant to motivate readers and help promote authors.
